Many have heard me emphasize the importance of having a CRM to help manage your business. But there are other uses for this tool as well.

If you have unfortunately found yourself without a job and are in the process of scheduling interviews and sending out thank you emails, a CRM might be able to help you.

A CRM can help you keep track of all of your interviews and the updates from each. You can even have the system send your thank you letters after your interview. And if you wanted to follow up with a company, you can automate that process as well.

Being organized during this stressful time will help relieve some of the pressure of making sure you follow up with these companies. And if you've never used a CRM in the past, you will learn a new skill that you can add to your resume.

And you don't have to spend money to do this. There are plenty of free CRMs that you can use. For example, both Hubspot and Zoho CRM offer entirely free products, not just your typical 15-30 day trials.
